SEPALE supports the #Transition Generation

SEPALE has responded to France Energie Eolienne‘s call to support the Transition Generation: 8,000 schoolchildren are invited to discover life-size wind turbines all over France.

The goal is to discover renewable energies, the operation of a wind turbine, training and jobs in the wind power industry, and to understand the challenges of the energy transition.

2 events for SEPALE, organized around the date of “France’s Overtaking Day”.

On May 4, the wind farm in Pougny opened its doors to pupils from Pougny school (58). The 28.2 MW, 12-turbine park, built and operated by SEPALE, supplies 14,000 homes.

Further south, the Cers Wind Farm, in the Aude department welcomed 2 classes (1st and 6th) on May 11. The educational visit to this wind farm, “repowered” by SEPALE for its partner EOSNER in 2021, enabled the Transition Generation to project themselves into new, meaningful jobs.
